Task: Precise distribution of plastic parts
Plastic parts are packaged in a bagging machine and are to be distributed into two large containers (wire mesh boxes) using conveyor belts.
The cycle time is approximately 10 seconds per bag.
The bags are to be counted precisely by the conveyor belt system; a counting pulse from the bag machine is not available.
Faulty bags (potential-free signal) should be rejected and must not reach the good parts.
Solution: Conveyor belt combination with inclined conveyor belt and small conveyor belts
Combination of a pre-connected, reversible small conveyor belt type IL for rejecting defective parts, a Z-shaped conveyor belt and a reversible small conveyor belt arranged at a 90° angle for distributing bags into two large containers
Double light barriers at the belt outlet of the Z-conveyor belt for bag counting and simultaneous filtering out of the burrs as sources of interference.
All three conveyor belts are mounted on a stable frame with integrated controls.
